A Pleading Letter to You from Your Customers
Dear Business Owner,
Please forgive me if I sound ungrateful. I would like to love your website, I really would. It’s just that…
Well, I like to do business with professional companies. You know, there are so many people who manipulate and take advantage of others nowadays. When I came to your website it made be a little nervous.
To be candid, I heard about you and wanted to check you out. I was looking for specific answers to some questions I had. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I think you’re great and all, and I’m sure you’ve worked hard building your business. But honestly, what’s on this website for me?
I was looking for lots of free information so that I could understand you better but all the pages just wanted to sell me something. I don’t want to be sold! I want to learn. I like to get educated and make good decisions for myself.
Oh, one other thing- I wanted to connect to you through a newsletter and a blog, but you didn’t have any options. I wanted to get to know you but you didn’t give me any opportunities.
I guess I’ll take my business somewhere else. Chalk this one up to a missed opportunity. Honestly, your website is a dead end.
Sincerely,
One of Many Visitors
