Why Tribes Will Change the World

Here’s a great video, “Why Tribes, Not Money or Factories, Will Change the World,” by Seth Godin.

Seth “argues the Internet has ended mass marketing and revived a human social unit from the distant past: tribes. Founded on shared ideas and values, tribes give ordinary people the power to lead and make big change. He urges us to do so.”

Seth asks three critical questions:

  1. Who are you upsetting? (If you’re not upsetting anyone, you’re not telling a poignant story.)
  2. Who are you connecting?
  3. Who are you leading?

Hub Mentality™ is the execution methodology of Seth’s “Tribe” philosophy. Seth’s video should convince you that you need to start marketing differently; our e-book shows you precisely how to implement those changes.

What do you think about the video? How are you building your tribe?
